SunGod chose EXF.STUDIO to make films and stills celebrating McLaren's racing heritage. Shot at the McLaren Technology Centre with F1 driver Lando Norris, the films weave AI-animated archive stills through new footage to give pace and depth to the story.

The challenge
Celebrate decades of McLaren racing in a few minutes, for a fast-growing eyewear brand, without it feeling like an archive reel.
The idea
Film the real thing at the McLaren Technology Centre with Lando Norris, then use AI to animate archive stills so history moves at the same pace as the new footage.
The result
A suite of films in multiple lengths, plus stills, for SunGod and McLaren's partnership. The latest delivery cut landed in 2026, part of a relationship that has grown with SunGod from early-stage challenger to one of the UK's most exciting lifestyle brands.
